We typically use Canon full frame cameras like the 5D & 6D series with Canon L series lenses for photography. These Canon models are great for filming however we and our contractors prefer the Sony Alpha A7 series, preferably the a7s2, for capturing our video content. The Alpha models are better in low light and thus offer less noise in the video.

We shoot in 4k if the project calls for it. We sometimes shoot in 4k and edit in 1080p to provide more flexibility in editing.
